Catching Grouper

 

CATCHING GROUPER:

 

Catching grouper with soft plastic lures, lead head jigs with a live or dead bait can be effective for catching the monster grouper.

 

When jigging, make sure to use a steady rhythmic retrieve.

 

Also, be prepared for a hard fight when a grouper takes the bait. These are the most commonly used techniques in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean.
